Owner description
This car is cheap as it has a gearbox fault!! Please read further!!
The private plate has been taken off car.
Hi iam selling my 2002 Maserati 4200 coupe, 50000mls, MOT expiry 21/05/21, I have had the car for 6 years with hardly any problems & was just about to sell it for a newer car & this fault came up.
The fault The gearbox light has come on & can only get 1st/2nd & reverse gear.I had the car scanned when this happened & the scanner read the following codes:P1741 P1742P1770I then cleared codes disconnected the battery & reset the system.Now the car has a beeping noise when entering & gearbox light on, still only 1st/2nd & reverse.
The only active code is Now P1742 selection potentiometer.
There is no warranty or returns with this vehicle & it will need to be picked up on a trailer/recovery truck!
I am not desperate to sell, so no silly offers.
