Built to use as a daily for ever, so near everything is new,
including the motor which is a fresh crate engine, (Goodwrench 4 bolt) alloy heads, Edelbrock carb
and manifold, performance cam, electronic dizzy with full dress up kit, belt drive.
The trans is a turbo 700 4 speed auto with a mild stall
convertor to deal with the performance cam.
The brakes, suspension, rear mounts, all bushes, lines etc
are all new, New wheels and tyres custom made for the car.
Exhaust is all new stainless custom system, nice note
keeping it legal, $3500 on its own.
New air conditioning (chrome) big new amp alternator
(chrome) new power steering pump (chrome) and reconditioned rack. Tranmission and power steer coolers, I even have a brand new towbar made for it.
Carby and dissy is tuned for economy on primaries, but still
plenty there on full throttle with an amazing sound. I set it all up well, had
a few more plans, but doubt there is a better one for sale.
The carby has been modified with idle up for the aircond and
auto choke for easy starting, radiator is excellent with twin thermos,
automatic switching, all gauges work as do windows, remote locking and alarm,
everything works as it should, so will pass roadworthy in any state.
Black trim is above average, rear seat is XJ40 in black,
door trims are excellent, dash has had a cheap recover, but presents well, sound
system has amp under passenger seat, and quality speakers with blu-tooth.
Suspension was set to sit nice and ride like a dream, the
car handles amazingly, it has the best chrome work I could find all around the
car.I brought several whole cars to get all the parts, so have a nice range of spares by negotiation.
Body and paint is excellent, most is decades old, any rust I
found was welded up, its not show winning paint, but will hold its own, and is above average in every respect.
I do have spare parts, panels and stock wheels, but prefer
to keep them, my new project is a Mark 10, which suits a little more, but I
built this car to keep, so massive $$$$ have been invested and hundreds or
hours.
No low ball offers please, I am in no hurry to sell. It will
come with rego in SA and have WA plates for it as well, will pass in any state.
Mark 040 Thirty three, seventy nine fivehundred, South Australia, was also regoed with same motor in WA, and I have those plates, will up load a video of it running here this week.
