Rear end from a Lincoln Versailles with factory disk brakes, 2” lowering blocks. 10” wide Truspoke rear wheels from the 1980’s. I have a full set of Truspoke wheels for the car, however, the new front axle would not accommodate the Truspoke front wheels anymore. All glass is good, red window tint from the 1980’s. All chrome and stainless steel in very good to excellent condition. Dual stainless steel exhaust with dual stainless steel mufflers. Trunk completely upholstered in red crushed velvet with red carpet. Car runs and drives great, though still retains the feel of a big block hot rod. Currently registered, insured and plated for the road. VIN: [hidden information]
The car was originally built in it’s current form in the winter of 1982 / 1983. The paint and upholstery were done by the owner at that time. There are scratches and “touchups” in the paint, especially where the previous owner had added a trailer hitch. The fenders look very, very close to the car body colour. Multiple show winner from the start. The first car show for the Dodge was 1984 in Toronto, Canada at the “Motion” car show where it won the “First Time Shown” award and the “President’s Choice Street Rod” award together. It also won first place at the Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Autorama 1984. I have the awards to prove. Afterwards it won nearly every car show it was entered into for about eight years. Multiple trophy winner. The story is that the car was built by the owner in the winter of 1982 / 1983 in Ontario, Canada and driven to California and back in the spring. This car is still very much like it was when it debut in 1983, the main body paint and interior is remarkably good for the car’s age. There are some wear marks and patina showing from the 36 plus years it has been in it’s current state. A lot of care and attention went into the original build, always stored inside. I purchased the car November 2016, cleaned it up, replaced the worn 396 that was in it along with the front end and cleaned / replaced the entire fuel system. Minor issues that have popped up since have been corrected immediately. I am the fourth ever owner and I drive it all over the place. My plan is to purchase a house with the proceeds but I’m not forced to sell the car. I have tried to state the vehicle as clearly and completely as I can, however, feel free to ask any questions. I have the ownership in my name and a clear title. Free local pickup, NO SHIPPING AT ALL. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN PERSON WITH CERTIFIED CHEQUE OR BANK DRAFT OR CASH ONLY. A $1000 deposit to be made within 24 hours of auction closing. Last picture was taken by a pro photographer, the car shows really great when sparking clean.
