Brand New Extraordinary Porsche 911 997 GT2 RS Recreation

This is an extraordinary vehicle. It is extraordinary in that it is a brand new build (200 miles only) designed to replicate the £200,000 GT2RS supercar. She is built upon a genuine Porsche 911 997 (not the 996) with a genuine 68,000 miles and a full primarily Porsche service history purchased from a reputable dealer and valued at £20-28k alone. As part of the build she underwent an £11,500 engine rebuild with Brooklands Porsche Specialists, had thousands more pounds worth of brand new high specification parts and Porsche upgraded the IMS shaft. Being a genuine 997 the vast majority of her panels are genuine steel Porsche panels. She was then finished with a diamond quilted interior and many extras. We are supplying her in perfect mechanical and excellent aesthetically condition with a new service and 12 months MOT. We will expand upon each of these reasons why she is extraordinary, include links to extra videos and photographs and then detail the genuine reason for sale, some details in regards to minor panel damage suffered by the donor car and repaired in 2008 and the relatively few minor imperfections which won’t concern you one bit!

1. Brand New Build
This is a brand new build finished to a near flawless standard.

2. Designed to Replicate the £200,000 Supercar
Being designed to replicate the £200,000 supercar GT2RS, she is an attention stopper in crowds. If you would like to see a walk around video then do please follow this link https://youtu.be/LDDe5G4sAG8 to a Youtube video or alternatively use the this link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1i8roox0C3J0Iieon1deRij-YGg7Z12ea?usp=sharing to view an album full of photographs.

3. £11,500 Engine Rebuild Just Carried out by Brooklands Porsche Specialists (200 Miles Ago)
Having had her own engine (3.6 Tip S 325bhp) completely rebuilt just 200 miles ago by no less than Brooklands Porsche Specialists (Kent) at an invoiced cost of £11,500; expect driving excellence. Brooklands’ Director Mr Kilgour stated that she was a vehicle in “excellent condition” within his closing comments upon the written report.

4. Based on a Porsche 911 997 (not 996)
Being based on a 2005 Porsche 911 997 3.6 Tip S (not the 996), her donor car alone has a value of £20,000-28,000 and was purchased from a reputable supplier, not an auction.

5. Genuine 68,000 Miles
Having covered a genuine and incredibly low 68,000 miles, this donor vehicle was an exceptional example to choose.

6. Full & Comprehensive Service History
That same donor vehicle has a full and comprehensive service history with eleven services which include five Main Dealer, two Porsche Specialist, one Lotus Specialist and just two none specialist garages. One of my employees whom specialises in rebuilding and racing 911’s has also carried out her 200 mile (post rebuild) oil and filter service this week.

7. Intermediate Shaft Bearing Upgrade
Porsche themselves carried out the intermediate shaft bearing upgrade at an invoiced cost of £1000.

8. Loads of Brand New High Specification Parts
She has recently been fitted with several thousand pounds of brand hew general consumable parts. These parts include brand new high specification brake discs and pads, new race specification brake fluid and Michelin Sport Tyres as well as new wheel sensors and a brand new alternator, battery and water pump.

9. Genuine Porsche Panels
Being a genuine 997 (not the usual face lifted 996), all of her panels are genuine Porsche steel panels, not fibreglass with the only exceptions being the GT2RS parts which include her bumpers rear wings and spoiler.
10. New Four Port Custom Exhaust System
Having recently benefited from a new custom made four port exhaust system she sounds incredible. If you would like to see a video of her running then do please follow this link https://youtu.be/mG1sPHj8RLg to a YouTube video.

11. Perfect Mechanical & Aesthetically Condition
Being in perfect mechanical condition, she is beautiful to drive and I have completed a 30 mile road test. Aesthetically she is incredible.

12. Diamond Stitched Interior
Her newly recovered diamond stitched colour co-ordinated interior finishes her off beautifully and she has a carbon surround to her dash.

13. Extras
She is loaded with extras including the Sat Nav, she comes with the private number plate RS02GTS (Porsche GTRS) which hides her age and a huge history folder with all of her handbooks etc.

14. 12 Months MOT
She will be sold with 12 months MOT (booked in on Tuesday morning).

Accordingly, this is your opportunity to own a brand new (200 miles) show stopping recreation of the legendary £200,000 GT2RS supercar, a GT2RS recreation based on an exceptional 68k miles and full service history genuine Porsche 911 997 valued at £20-28k and a recreation that has recently had Brooklands Porsche Specialists rebuild its engine at £11.5K, Porsche upgrade its intermediate shaft and thousands of pounds worth of brand new high specification parts. This GT2RS will be delivered to you if required (for free) in perfect mechanical condition with 12 months MOT & a fresh oil and filter service carried out by an expert.

Genuine Reason for Sale
There is a remarkably emotional story behind this Porsche. The current owner is a motoring enthusiast whom had a dream. To create that dream he commissioned all of the incredible works above. On the day of the completion of all of these works when his dream was due to be delivered home tragedy struck and the owners father passed. Accordingly the Porsche has acted as a reminder of such events and has barely been used; completing just 200 miles since she was completed 12 months ago. Accordingly, he has decided to let this prized vehicle go and we are tasked with finding her a new and equally passionate owner.

Category D (Panel Damage) Repaired - 2008
Her donor vehicle was unfortunately when three years from new (2008) registered as Category D with repairable panel damage that the insurer decided not to repair. The panel damage arose from an accident where a garage door closed upon the front end; damaging the bonnet and front wings. Her bonnet and wings were replaced immediately and she never actually left the road; covering 15,000 miles that year which is 25% of her total mileage! An inspection of her underneath shows a straight and undamaged vehicle.

Honest & Critical Evaluation of Her Condition
This vehicle is mechanically excellent, she drives beautifully and is aesthetically just about flawless if I dare say so. The only flaw I could find is that her replacement GT2RS rear lights intermittently trigger false computer readings relating to failed bulbs. All of the bulbs are working and this is quite common on vehicles such as this where lights have been replaced for aftermarket versions.

The Panel Conversion & Insurance
In recreating the body to replicate the GT2RS the bumpers, rear wings and boot spoiler have been replaced with fibreglass panels, side skirts have been added and aftermarket rear lights. This is akin to the fitment of a body kit for insurance purposes.

Exceptional Use-ability, Strong Fuel Consumption & Cheap Road Tax, Plus Good Residual Values
Porsche 911’s are fantastic daily drivers with incredible power (325bhp) and handling which can return 26mpg. Being an early 997 registered on 26/10/2004 we are advised that she falls into the cheap lower tax band bracket of £330 per year (do double check this). Porsche 997 values have generally considered strong and being a GT2 replica she should always hold a similar value within our experience (we specialise in similar vehicles).
