This gorgeous and rare coloured roadster was acquired by myself back in January for the purpose of being a weekend driver for the summer and soon to be a daily driver for my partner. I am forced to let it go as my partner fell pregnant, thus our life has taken a drastic change of priority and we need something more practical. Mileage is at 113,277 I have put some good money into this car within the last 8 months to maintain it which include: - Rear diff sensor- Full replacement set of OEM ignition coils- New suspension springs (not coilovers)- Full service (oil change, plugs[NGK of course], filters etc) within the last 1500 miles- New ECU and stage 1 map- New part worn tyres in January- Both drainage trays and chutes unblocked and cleaned(very important for TT roadsters in particular)- new brake pads (Just standard)- new battery- replaced old recirculation valve with forge 007- New wheel bearings for either side Things to note: - MOT until January 2021- Automatic roof operation does not work but I bought a replacement roof mechanism which will come with the car, itjust needs fitting. Manual operation is very easy in the meantime.- The front passenger side wheel is buckled but not badly and hard to tell - but I bought a replacement which again comeswith the car anyway. Replacement alloy is "silver aluminium" in colour for if you would like to colour match the rest to that.- I planned on replacing the timing belt and oil sensor as I am unsure how old the current ones are. Again, these partsare going to come with the car for you.- Bonnet release needs re-attaching to the cable- Car originally came with the BOSE system but the door speakers have been removed because they were blown - all otherspeakers are fine including the door card tweeters. I will also supply a decent replacement head unit and ground loopisolator to ensure the head units compatibility with the BOSE speakers. (these door cards are some of the easiest I haveremoved, it literally takes 2 minutes if that)- Very minor damage to paint on the edge of each door. Worse on passenger side which is covered up by a protective stickerbut again this is very minor and only requires a quick and easy touch up.- No service history available besides when I serviced it upon purchase. Previous owners were a couple with thefella being a mechanic/petrol head so it has been looked after.- Spare space saver wheel, tyre and tools are in mint condition including the original first aid kit.- Minor pixelation on the dash but nowhere near as bad as other TT's and is a common fault.- Heated seats- Comes with single key but key battery needs replacing- ***Most important to note is that the power steering rack needs replacing. Thus, the car will need to be transported unlessyou fancy a good arm workout all the way home.*** I am sure I have listed all there is to know and therefore the car will be bought as seen to mitigate time wasters. If this car is looked after properly it will only increase in value as we see less and less of these on the road. This will give its next owner plenty of grin factor as its a joy to drive. This car should fly through itsnext MOT once the steering rack is replaced. I have probably covered 1500 miles since its been in my ownershipbetween maintaining it and working all the hours god sends due to the pandemic. Thankyou. :)
