This fantastic A6 3.0 TDI Quattro is a special edition to celebrate Audi’s win in Le Mans, using a Diesel engine.
It has the 233 BHP engine, V6. Smooth with grunt. The gearbox is the best auto, I have spent thousands repairing previous Audi auto boxes so was keen to have a better one! I’ve had the recommended oil and filter change done around 100k miles. It’s 6 speed and also used in Mercedes and Porsche I believe. The car comes with full service history and was serviced back in May, only around 2000 miles ago. It was done at an Audi specialist and was a long life service so should be good for around 18000 miles. It had a new MOT last month too. Earlier this year I had new discs and pads on the front and rear, using EBC red pads as they produce limited brake dust so the wheels stay cleaner for longer. The Daytona grey paintwork really sparkles. The wheels (all 5 including the full size spare) were freshly powered coated in 2019 and remain immaculate. The interior full black leather is in amazing condition too, as is the dark grey headlining. I regularly clean the car in and out by hand and apparently spend way too long doing it! Along with the 19” wheels, the bigger brakes and S-Line suspension, the Le Mans version also came with full colour Sat Nav, fibre connected 11 speaker sound system, Bluetooth phone kit and in the arm rest your iPhone can be charged in the cradle... if that is you have an iPhone 4s! Sound system really is superb. One of my favourite things the car has in the active Xenon headlights, the are so good, and the beam bends as you turn the steering wheel. The lights and the wipers are auto and come on and off just when you want them to.
Dual climate control works 100%, as do the heated seats. In fact all the electronics work. The car has also been fitted with a removable Westfalia swan neck tow bar with 7 pin electrics, it’s only ever been used for a bike carrier and doesn’t confuse the rear parking sensors like some can. The rear seats fold down and are lockable using the ignition key. I have 2 keys and the Audi emergency key too. I have loved every minute of driving this car, but sadly due to buying a VW camper and having 2 others cars the Audi has to go. Would love to keep it but the head says it must go. As it’s the Quattro it never loses traction and the engine is so powerful, yet I get around 50 MPG on my (currently occasional) 27 mile commute to work.
