2006 Honda S2000 NO RESERVE - FULL CARFAX IS LISTED BELOW

I bought this car in January of 2020 with 10/10 matching VIN’s. It had a blown motor and had some faded/cracking clear and paint from apparent sun exposure concentrated towards the front passenger side of the car. Clean title in hand and has never been wrecked. 2 remotes, 1 valet key, 1 regular key.
Motor - The old block was trash, but the head was fine. Block was damaged from previous owner. I was able to find a brand new OEM short block assembly still in a crate from Honda. Yes, these are discontinued, but I was lucky enough to find one. I have pictures of the motor in the crate, then out being mated with the head. Head was sent off to a reputable shop to get checked, cleaned and have new valves installed. I have pictures of pretty much every step of the motor getting put together before getting put back in the car. This a 68k mile body with a brand new motor. You will definitely not find another S2000 like this. New OEM valve cover and gaskets as well. Besides the head getting sent off, all work was done by Skye Performance in Smyrna, TN.
Transmission – Original transmission with new OEM Honda disc – Fluid replaced during motor install.
Paint/Body – Car has a brand new OEM Silverstone paint job. All VIN’s matched when I purchased the car. However, the painter highly recommended me replacing the passenger fender and front bumper, because he was worried about spending more money/time/labor on removing that previous paint. Since fenders and bumpers are still readily available from Honda, I made the decision to replace them even though they weren’t damaged. There are a few slight imperfections in the paint considering we used the original parts on the remainder of the car. All in all it’s a 9.5/10 paint job. Imperfections in paint (front corner of passenger hood – missed one rock chip, but it’s painted, just missed filling it in. Back bumper had a light scratch before paint right by body line and it wasn’t repaired before paint job. You can still see it through new paint job. A few scratches on top of driver mirror that were missed and still can be seen through new paint job). Other than mentioned above, it’s in great shape.
Top – New Robbin’s top with defroster rear glass. I would’ve went OEM, but the black ones are discontinued (or backordered for forever, I can’t remember which one).
Interior – Black/Red interior - A little worn between the mats/seats which is pretty normal. Brand new OEM red floor mats. Scuff on top left of steering wheel either from a knife clip in someone’s pocket from getting in/out of the car or maybe a ring, dragging across the leather. I bought the car and it had pre 2006 seats. I bought the correct seats from used Honda part guru and all parts were in great condition. ODS Unit has been reset by Honda after correct seats were installed. Kenwood head unit. Current shift knob is a counter sunk weighted knob. The kick panels getting into the car do have some knicks in them but not much. All original glass still in the car except for the new soft top of course. Heat and air works as they should.
Suspension/Tires – OEM struts with Tein Springs. Wheels are AP2V2 wheels professionally painted black. Falken 215/245 F/R tires with about 40% tread left. The inner fender liners are there, but were cut where they connect to the front bumper.
Exhaust – Full OEM exhaust from front to back with new gaskets. Replaced both O2 sensors with OEM replacements.
Bumpers/Body Panels – Besides replacing the front bumper/passenger fender with OEM Honda panels, are parts are original to the car. Front lip is the original one that came on the car with new OEM molding installed after paint (between bumper/lip).
Parts/Replacements – Anything I replaced, I bought from Honda as long it’s still available. I spared no expense replacing parts that need to be replaced as long as I saw fit. I can’t tell you how many times I made miscellaneous bolts/clip orders to replace due to broken clips.
Summary – This is a great running/driving car with a brand new motor. It’s not perfect, but it’s really close! It was driven for 68k miles, so it’s not going to be spotless. I have personally put the miles on the new motor myself and car rides and drives like a dream. I planned on holding onto the car for sometime, but I found another car I want, so I'm getting rid of this one. I have tons of pictures from start to finish on this project.
Clean and clear TN title in hand. Currently in the process of talking with AutoCheck to see if I can get the report error fixed. This car has never been wrecked. CarFax shows nothing and I thoroughly checked out the car before buying. I wouldn't have bought the car if there was any inclination of it being wrecked. I'd be glad to let a local shop take a look at the car for a buyer if they needed to. I have absolutely nothing to hide. The car had 10/10 matching VIN's when I bought it. I have pictures of the car when I bought it and have the matching VIN front bumper and passenger fender still just to prove it wasn't damaged (only cracked clear from the sun/weather). Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. I have an entire photo album of the car, the new motor that was put in, receipts, etc.
