Hi everyone, Up for auction is my BMW 318i E46 2002 4cyl 2.0lt automatic. 150,000kms.Rego is due on August 12th 2020. It definitely needs work before rego is due. The tyres are pretty much bald & the brakes need urgent attention. The brake pedal is firm & needs either bleeding or a part. Its just had the booster replaced & the rear pads. A mechanic told me it needs bleeding but im unsure. Yes, it still stops & is driveable, but definitely requires work soon to rectify.Mechanically, its not too bad. It starts first go, runs & drives, seems to be an ok engine & transmission. It has a few oil leaks, but doesn't overheat & keeps fluid at ok levels. Sometimes the oil light stays on when first started, but only stays on for a few seconds. The suspension has a few minor rattles in the front over larger bumps etc. It has a bit of a vibration at high speeds from what i believe is a wheel balance issue. The body is in poor condition. Has large dents & scuffs on the passager doors (pictured). The front bumper has broken clips & is hanging loose on the drivers side. Also has some bumper fade, broken bits. There is fade on the bonnet, the roof & there is wear on the front right guard where the indicator was taped up. There is a few other dents/ marks etc around the body. The drivers side presents well. 1 mirror is missing its cap & there is ill fitting chrome caps stuck over the top. Its an inner city parking car, use to touch parking/ tree sap etc etc. The interior is the best part of the car. Clean seats. Not bad carpet. Wood paneling. Rooflining is a tad sagged. All switches work & the stereo is functional. The air con is not cold but the heater works. Has 1 remote key but no books. The car is best suited to a mechanic or parts donor. The brakes/ tyres need attention very soon. Its definitely no oil painting. Pickup only, Newcastle NSW. Contact to be made within 24hrs of auction close. Please no zero feedbackers.
