Owner description
A very original low km Mercedes that has previously been on club rego. It has only 158,000 km and the nicest real leather you could ever expect to find in a car of this era. It has the factory 2-way sunroof and ABS brakes. This 300E was Australian delivered and is rust free with orig paintwork. Crack free dash. Recent windscreen.
I had put this lovely 300E aside for 'later on', but now I'm letting it go because I have 5 other Mercedes-Benz models, and am heavily involved with the restoration of a 1959 Mercedes 220S with family history connections.
It runs well, but there are some minor things to do if you want to make it perfect; minor bumper damage, irregular pass electric window, a leaky A/C hose, and some paint blemishes. The 300E models are a great car, and getting rare to find in this condition. A lot of car for the money. However, it is not a brand new car, so no 'nit pickers' please. First $6K wins it. Huge potential. You can drive it home on a permit.
