This car was bought new into Australia in 76 by my Grandmother in Leeton NSW. She drove it around locally for 25 years, racking up around 30,000 kilometres, going through only one set of tyres. When she stopped driving, she gave me the car. Since then, I have used it as a runabout car, bringing it to Shepparton in 2016. In 2018 we began restoring it, panel beating the entire car, respraying it in it's original sky blue, removing all rust, reupholstering the seats, replacing seat belts, radiator, brakes, and replacing some worn parts. The car has been a true family heirloom and it will be sad to see it go. The car runs beautifully. It has a few bits still to restore:1 - The dash is the most notably old component to the car. There is apparently a mob in Melbourne who reform dashboards well.2 - Find some good hub caps for it.3 - Need to source a screw to properly reattach wiper blades. They sit on there fine, but don't function well since we began the restoration and we lost this screw.4 - She has developed a gentle oil leak from somewhere, a good mechanic would find it and sort it I imagine.5 - Intenral cab light needs replacing6 - Side mirror needs replacing7 - Choke needs securing8 - Passenger seat needs further securing via screws under seat This car, formerly known as 'Daphney', comes with original plates, manuals, details of recent servicing and an awesome framed newspaper article which featured the car in 2018. I will consider all offers above $7000....I've already received some lower offers, thanks.
