1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. The Cadillac starts easily, and drives, but the brakes need work. I have a clear/clean Utah title in my name. This is the last year for early Cadillac Eldorado Convertibles. The Cadillac has its original drive train and the original 500 Cubic Inch V8. Please look closely at all of the photos. I have over 1,000 positive feedbacks on Ebay, and I highly value my 100% positive feedback. With this in mind, I will list both the positive and negative aspects of my Cadillac. First, on the positive side: 1. The 500 C.I. engine starts easily and sounds good. There are no unusual sounds or exhaust smoke. 2. All of the electrical options on the Cadillac work. The power top works, the power trunk lock works, the power windows work, etc. 3. The body is almost rust free. Again, please look closely at the photos. The floors and trunk pan are rust free. There are no major dents in the car. It has some minor dings, but nothing serious. 4. All the glass is good. The original glass rear window that is stitched into canvas top is stored in the trunk. Because the brakes are bad, I have jacked the car up and put it in gear. It shifts properly both forward and in reverse. 5. Most important on the positive side, the reserve on the Cadillac Eldorado Convertible is very low and well under its value. On the negative side: 1. The brakes need work. The Cadillac cannot currently be driven. The Cadillac sat in storage for several years and the brake fluid has evaporated or leaked. 2. I didn't want to pump bad gas into the fuel pump and carburetor when I got the Cadillac running. It is currently running off of an auxiliary gas tank. I would recommend cleaning the gas tank. 3. As I mentioned the body is in very good condition, but the plastic inserts that are shown in the photos, need to be replaced. These parts are for sale on Ebay and in aftermarket catalogs. 4. The Cadillac is mostly complete, but it is missing the hubcaps. 5. The original leather interior is tattered. Some of the material could be salvaged, but the seats need work. 6. The canvas convertible top needs to be replaced. 7. The tires have good tread, but are old. I would not trust them on a long trip. I will gladly help the shipper you select in have the Cadillac shipped anywhere in the world.Lastly, if you have less than 5 positive feedbacks on Ebay, please message me or give me a call before bidding. My number is 1 [hidden information]. I'm not a car dealer. I'm an old guy that loves old cars, but has too many projects and the Cadillac has to go. Good luck bidding, and I hope the car finds a good home.
