1964 Chevrolet Belair Take a step back in time with this rust free original Chevrolet. Recently purchased from the daughters of the original owner. The car was always garage kept and covered. The seats and carpets were covered as well. I was told it was in the snow once in it's life. The family got caught in a snowstorm coming back from a wedding in Virginia many years ago. The car left the factory with a 283  motor and a three speed overdrive transmission. Radio, heater and seat belts. The car was sold new at Stafford Chevrolet in Indiana PA and resides ten miles from that now closed dealership. Another Chevrolet dealer is located there. The car has been driven eighteen miles since the last PA inspection. The paint is original with a few minor imperfections accumulated over the years. The chrome and stainless trim is very nice. No pitting. When looking at the photos' notice the condition of the weatherstripping and rubber moldings. This car has not seen much daylight over the years. The previous, original owner, did a couple of things that are not original to the car. He put a reflector on the lower inside of the drivers side door panel He placed an amp gauge where the clock should be. He mounted two gauges to the passenger side kick panel, oil pressure and water pressure and he coated the inner side of both rear wheel wells with undercoating. This car is not a Chevelle SS, a Camaro Z/28 or even a 1957 Belair. It's not an Impala SS. This is an honest original 1964 Chevrolet Belair four door sedan. A great car from a great time period.Car runs and drives good, starts right up and stops like it should. A great family car, cruise night car. One that could be used in any movie of the time period. A great back drop for period photos. A car that can be used and enjoyed for many years to come. I encourage all prospective buyers to come and look the car over or have someone look it over for you. The car is not advertised for sale anywhere else and will be sold if the modest reserve is met. Buyer responsible for all transportation costs. Good luck and happy bidding. Make it yours at auction.
