Rare 1964 Bristol 408 RHD, Car #408-1-023, Chassis #[hidden information], (one of 80 Bristol 408 cars built in 1964), aluminum body mounted on steel chassis, reupholstered interior.  This car was exported to the U.S. in 1992 with a refurbished body, chassis and interior (under the direction of Spencer Lane Jones as per documents in my possession), but without engine or transmission.  A rebuilt Chrysler 360 c.i. engine (Chrysler supplied engines and transmissions for all Bristols) and a 3-speed Chrysler torque-flite transmission (push button operated) were installed in the U.S.  The current odometer reading is 33,861 miles; however, the odometer may have been replaced during the above restoration.  Under my ownership, I have updated the brake system with a dual circuit master cylinder and dual power brake boosters.  All four disc brake calipers were professionally rebuilt within the last 100 miles.  All brake lines and brake hoses were replaced at the same time.  The cooling system was updated by the addition of a 3000 CFM fan cooling the aluminum radiator.  The engine received a new Summit four barrel carburetor within the last 100 miles.  The Michelin tires are in excellent condition.  The car is stored in a climate-controlled garage under a car cover.  The car cover is included in the sale.  Clear Florida title.   Great condition.  This vehicle is being sold "AS IS - WHERE IS."  No warranty expressed or implied.  Buyer is responsible for shipping, vehicle tax and registration.
