This is a 1962 Corvette. Car is unrestored and unmolested. Car runs excellent. Totally rebuilt original 327. Possibly could be an original fuelie. Engine code is rf. Was told by the previous owner that this engine that came with the car. Which corresponds with the built date late 1961. Whether it is or not I do not know . I put the engine together to be a 340 hp carbuerated. New 340 hp carburetor from Chicago Corvette Supply 3269s. Block 870 Dated G-6-61 Code RF. Earliest 327 ci I have ever seen. Bored .060 sealed power pistons. Edelbrock timing chain #7800. 360 hp cam. Re-Con small journal rods. Steel crank .010. 461xcylinder heads 2.02 1.6 valves. Has new correct distributor from Chicago Corvette. Nos corvette oil pan. New clutch pressure plate. New throw-out bearing. New starter. New correct bell housing and fork. New water pump. New tires. Original radiator clean in great condition . Car will need brake work to be driven. Ran it on an auxiliary fuel tank to break in engine for approximately 2 hours. Runs excellent posted a video on you tube of car running. Muncie 4 speed. Car is just the way it was parked in 1981 which is last registration date. 78,353 miles. Perfect car to restore or drive as is. Surface rust on frame, but did not see any holes. Good exhaust system and sounds great. Speedometer and dash cluster are not original that is why it has a low horse power tach. Paint is at least 40 years old so there is alot of imperfections. Windshield is cracked. Not interested in any trades. What you see if what you get. The convertible top is in working condition but has a 2 inch tear. Will need interior kit because it has been recovered back in the day. Bumpers have some rust good cores. Orginal floor mat. Hood is not bolted to the car in the picture just set on. Car has a valid New York registration. Cars older than 1973 did not use titles.
