Nash Automobile comes to us from the estate of an eccentric collector
and is being offered at a NO
RESERVE auction. The
car has been refinished and re-trimmed to it's present form to suit
his taste and vision of 'mid-century'. The car appears solid (please
see the photographs for details), starts easily and drives smoothly.
It did sit for a period of time before the liquidation of the estate,
and exhibits some usual traits of an automobile that has sat dormant
for at least several months. There is a small transmission fluid
leak that appears to be from around the pan gasket and there is a
small amount of smoke on cold idle warm up that dissipates upon
operating temperature. The irreplaceable chrome is in good shape, as
is the paint, though there are some mars in it, such as on the lower
passenger doors and some surface bubbling on the lower drivers side.
The rear bumper extension for the continental kit is bent downward
and will need straightening. The engine compartment has been very
