******* 1973 LJ Torana 2 door coupe with most parts needed to build the car ****** Up for sale I have my 1973 LJ 2 door, I have owned this car since February 2017, I purchased the car from the previous owner who was located in Sydney, he had done most of the panel repairs (nose cone to to just before the rear guards). I know the car does not look much in the photo's but I unfortunately have been let down time and time again by panelbeaters, the panel beater that started the rust repairs in the boot no longer wanted to continue with the car so I have had to put it in storage. Since then I have had another two panelbeaters wanting the job, but both have no time, no room in the workshop etc so I have decided to put everything up for sale as Im over the dissapointment. The car - the previous owner had the floor replaced, the front two guards and nose cone are all brand new. The engine bay is pretty much perfect as he had repaired it prior to selling the car to me. I need to make it really clear, I am no panel beater but I can be totally honest in regards to what I have had done to it. The rear guards had flares that had been removed by the guy that I purchased the car from. They have partially been repaired. I have had both bottom sections of the rear guards (wheel well etc) lower panels aswell as a floor piece in the boot replaced, the panel beater has welded them temporarily in to place. The boot needs some work to finish. All panel beaters that have looked at the car have told me that the engine bay and floor have been done very well and dont need much to finish completely. The two doors on the car have some rust at the bottom of each door. I also have two spare doors but they arent in great condition, the guy I purchased from gave me all of his spare parts so I have a heap of stuff. The front pillars need rust repairs, but have also been told that it isnt too bad and they are repairable. The boot lid that came on the car also has some rust underneath where the XU1 spoiler was. (Told this is common). I was going to source another boot lid but havent done so waiting for the panel beater to take the car, which as I said hasnt been able to happen.I purchased this car as a full restoration car, I knew what I was getting myself into but it has been a nightmare as I have been constantly let down by others, it would have been finished by now but that is another story. For the past year and a half I have been collecting parts ready to go in when the body was finished. I am going to try and sell the car and everything I have bought for the car together rather than sell separately. Parts I do have -An original XU1 head (came with the car)4 x brand new sprintmaster rims (The car currently has 4 stock rims with brand new tyres)Triple carbies and manifoldBrand new retrimmed XU1 black interiorBrand new XU1 door trimsBrand new still in box GTR steering wheelGTR dashBrand new centre consoleRear bumper barRear tail lights (reconditioned surrounds)The car has the diff still in it. The guy I purchased the car from gave me the 4 speed box that he took out of the car.2 x spare doors (as I said they need repairing before putting on a car)Rear screen (The windscreen wasnt in the car when I purchased it)Radiator (brand new)The car has the ID number on the passenger side in the engine bay. I also have the long metal ID tag that goes in the front of the engine bay.I am not an expert, and have decribed everything honestly and to the best of my ability. Please no timewasters and low ball offers, I have spent a heap of money trying to get this car finished. If I had a reliable panel beater there is no way I would be selling. Inspections are more than welcome and are encouraged. The car is located in Traralgon, Victoria. Please if you do place a bid, you are bidding to buy the car and everything that comes with it!If you would like any more pics, let me know. Please call Shayne on 0412 525 845 (no texts) if you have any questions. Please note the pics where the bonnet and nose cone are on the car is when I purchased it and the ones that show the car with the panels off is how it is now - as this is how I picked it up from the panel beater, unfinished. He has my money and I didnt get the job we agreed on (Very long story).Deposit is required within 24 hours of auction ending. Cash or bank deposit only. The car can still be moved, happy to help out for interstate buyers but you will need to organise the freight at your own expense.Anyway happy bidding!
