“I bought this last summer and drove it 40 km home. Has been stored in heated garage. Interior looks original. 346 engine starts up easy, no smoke, runs nice, looks like it was rebuilt right before I bought it. I don't have the know how or money to have it restored right now. It was painted by the prior owner to look like a staff car, paint is flaking off above rear wheel wells, only one spot of surface rust on trunk. Driver door rubs on hood when you open it. Passenger side front door handle is loose and doesn't always open from the outside, inside works fine. Good bones for someone who likes these cars. I believe the motor is a 1942 replacement, but same motor as original, 346. Have all the hubcaps and lots of other spare parts.”
1941 Cadillac, 346 motor runs well. 3 on the tree. Looks like original seats, in good shape. No rust on the floor, trunk, frame or any holes on the body, some minor surface rust on one spot on the trunk. Vehicle has been undercoated years ago and there is no rust showing through, has been out of the elements. Has been sitting in storage for a year at my place, but I take it out at least once a month and drive it around the property to keep it lubricated. This is a good starting point for a Cadillac enthusiast, the bones are good. I'm building a house this year and don't know when I would get to have anything done on this beast. I will try to add some more photos when the weather gets better, including all the spare parts.Car starts and stops, but I would think it needs to be worked on before it's road worthy, brakes work well, but again, I'm no mechanic and wouldn't go on a road trip before going over any old car. One brake light works, head lights are not hooked up. There is a lot of original wiring that is no longer working, the wire is brittle and falls apart. This is a project for someone, I wish it was me.I'll answer any questions as best I can.Sold as is, buyer responsible for arranging pick up.Listed at 500$ less then what I paid for it.
