1995 Toyota Land Cruiser Blue  Marlin special edition 107 of 500 released.
As seen in January 1995 No. 132 edition of the 4x4 Australia magazine, if you didnt catch it dont worry. I have a copy of the magazine included!
4.5ltr twin cam multi valve petrol engine. Outputs 158kw @4600 revs and 373 Nm of torque @3200revs according to the magazine.
Has a HF151 5 speed gearbox and a vicous coupled centre differential providing constant 4wd, again courtesy of the magazine.Came with an awesome heater and aircon which I recently had rebuilt to be cold enough for the kids in the third row. Only has vents in the front. Working too well, bloody freezing.
Installed we have a Pioneer CD system and a DVD player is installed under the passenger seat. An in dash 7ich screen was added, currently not getting power and I havent got the time to sort it out, probably only needs the cable re attached.
Electric side mirrors, drivers side need a new clip but all working, electric windows and the addition of an electric aerial was well worth the money when entering those under ground car parks.Driving lights and fog lights are installed but I never used them.
The Blue Marlin colour looks great, hides dirt and the fading. The original owner put the clear coat on which is now faded quite bad on the roof and bonnet. My plan was to get the car wrapped.
Prestige Sunroofs installed the Hollandia TVS electric sunroof which has never missed a beat, no leaks or any dramas with this.Burg Automotive design also added touches of woodgrain to the dash and doors.ECR Sound in Nth Essendon installed a DANA Cruise Control, this has always been hit an miss, I think there is an electrical issue which I have never investigated.
Duel Fuel however the LGP has had some issues, some days it runs great, other days it jolts and carries on and with the current LPG prices I haven't bothered using it in months. The tank was replaced and system inspected when I bought the car 2/2006. I am guessing for RWC this may need another inspection.
Last month I put on 4 tyres that have about 80% tread, at this time they were balanced and they tyre joint said no alignment was required.
Interior is in amazing condition for its age, it was treated with protectant when new and has no rips, tears or stains. The drivers seat is a little worn. Third row used often, also in very good condition, near excellent, easy to remove these seats or fold up.
Exterior is as expected for its age and as shown in the pictures. The original owner added the clear coat which has faded on the roof and bonnet. There are no real dints but there is a good scratch to the fiberglass wheel arch on the passenger front wheel. (in pic)
I am the second owner purchasing the car 11 years ago. it has moved with the family starting with 1 kid, 1 dog and a caravan and lots of trips to Echuca where the offroading consisted of dirt tracks after rain, now there are 6 of us and we have used the car for general household driving.
Rebuilt the heads 3 years ago (goodbye $1500) and have the system installed to feed oil in to prevent this occuring again.Replaced barrel and door locks.
So why are we selling. My son has disabilities which require us to make adjustments to our vehicle and unfortunately this car is too old to get equipment that fits. its a decision we have been forced to make as I was hoping to get her onto Redplates.
Full Service on 1/3/2018 - oil Change, S/F oil Filter, Safety Inspection - Checked brakes (will need doing at next service, Suspension, tyres, drive trans and top up all fluids all good.New Heavy duty battery installed late last year.Replaced all hydraulic struts to bonnet and boot door.[hidden information]km
Reg - 30/6/2018No RWC - I dont have the time to do this and I have no idea what it might need.
Inspections are welcome but please dont come and hassle us on price, we need to sell the car to buy another (costing us in excess of $50k, the price is fair).
We have set the starting price and have the vehicle listed elsewhere. The buy it now price is what we will take for the car, don't ask for our best price because that's it!
Any questions feel free to message me. I can take more pics if needed.Cash on pick up please. Located in Watsonia North, Victoria.
