. The car needs close to $2,500.worth of parts and $1,000 of welding. Parts list include: windshield, tires, gas tank, fuel and brake lines, a rear window or a rear window louver, exhaust, belts , hoses,fluids, etc..It has a new electrical diaphram on the back of the speedometer cluster , the heater fan motor works, all the switches turn and click good..The original radio looks good and clean, It has the antenna wire, the antenna is missing. The 1978 ford 302 is apart ( It appears to be all stock with half worn rings), it has the original valve covers,oil pan,aluminum intake,and 2 barrel carburator. It also has a like new aftermarket high rise 4 barrel aluminum intake, with a new 4 barrel carb. As well as used chrome valve covers and chrome oil pan.A good torque converter, flywheel, starter, electronic distributor, a single point distributor, stock exhaust manifolds, original radiator all in good condition. The c-6 transmission shifts good. The third member is tight, the gear ratio is unkown (its missing the tag).It has motor mounts, a transmission cross-member and driveshaft (with a new old stock c-6 yoke). The original wiring harness has not been removed and appears ready to use.The front shock tower to firewall cross-member is chrome. The seats are soft enough to use. It's recently been primed and painted Ford Blue and Stop sign red The frame will need metal and welding work( patch welding should do). The front frame rails look good, they just need a few patches. The rear frame rails are intact , the bottom of the rear rails have significant rust . The top side of the floor panels have been patched but will need welded. . The trunk lid will need some work. . research says it was originally red with black interior with a 351 Windsor motor and a C-6 transmission.. The interior panels are in descent shape , the original headliner goes 3/4 the way back, the door panels will need customized. It has the 4 base seat belts , the longer belts are missing. . It's perfect timing for someone to put their style of tires and shade of windshield, etc. on it. . It has a regular Missouri title in the owners name.
The true mileage is unknown, the 34,000 miles is a guess ( figured the 34,000 with the play in the third-member) .
