1946 ½ ton Chevrolet 3100 pickup in good shape;older paint job of blue and black. Very solid, all steel truck, with the veryrare option of factory overload springs. This is great driver, and I’ve usedit around our property. The cylinder 216 stove bolt engine (DP[hidden information]) runsgreat and believe is the original engine for this vehicle. The 4-speed transmission (1st is the granny gear)and clutch work good, brakes are fine and steering is fine. All of the lightswork as they should and the vacuum wiper motor works but not enough to run thewiper blade. The windows roll up and down smoothly, the cowl vent goes up anddown easily and the doors open and shut nice. All of the gauges work – temperature, odometer, speedometer, oil pressure, and charge indicator. It is still 6-volt. The Deluxeheater works, with dual fan motors – one for the defroster, one for the heater. The horn works, but the wire in the steering column is grounded so it stays onall the time (I've disconnected it).All of the glass and weather stripping is in okcondition. The tires are bias ply. Overall condition of the body and paint isvery presentable with nice shine. Running boards have some dents in them. Thetrim is in good condition. The truck bed individual boards and rails aremissing, and have been replaced with single sheet of plywood. The hand brakeneeds new cables. The lower sheet metal shrouds around the engine are there.Overall, very solid original truck in good condition. Please look at all of the photos, then call[hidden information] if you’d like more information about this vehicle. can sendvideo of the engine running and driving down the road.
